Neshaminy State Park
If any of you have been here long enough, you know I am NOT a morning person. You'll only see me up before the sun for two occasions; a beach trip or a sunrise session. Allie & Scott agreed to meet me at the crack of dawn for their engagement session even though they only got to see each other for the weekend, due to their long distance relationship. It was a magical experience, and SOOO worth getting up!! We met at Neshaminy State Park to start the session off. It was a very cold brisk morning, and there was fog over the water. Like all of my EKP couples, they had no experience in front of the camera. Within a few minutes, they began to light up and their personalities began to shine. We started to make magic together!
You could tell right away how much these two are madly in love with each other. Scott lit up whenever Allie looked at him, and Allie would gleam ear to ear when Scott would smile in her direction. The two of them have a very quirky demeanor to them, and it definitely shows in their images! I always love capturing the personalities of my couples, so when these personality traits come out, it makes for a natural experience, and gorgeous genuine images!
Allie and Scott met through a mutual friend. They started chatting and clicked right off the bat. They later bonded over their shared love of Harry Potter and the Game of Thrones! Eventually they exchanged numbers, set up their first date, and history was made. Scott proposed to Allie on top of Mt Washington in Pittsburgh, where she lives. It was a beautiful day, and they went to one of their favorite restaurants afterwards, where Allie’s parents were waiting for them!
I am sooo excited to be photographing their wedding next June! So without further ado, grab your favorite choice of beverage, and scroll through my favorites from their engagement!
